Sharing The Process

Coming up with new dinnerware designs can be exciting and rewarding, of course the flip side is it can also be very frustrating and daunting. Some of the prettiest glazes I use are the most temperamental. This creamy white and ocher glaze is one of those tricky ones I'm thinking of, when all goes well in the kiln it is both elegant and rustic if that's possible.

Here's a quick video that demonstrates how to make a mug handle by rolling it out and then adding texture with stamps.
